The flying device that anyone can ride has completed the flight over the water - it costs 92 thousand dollars

The future of individual flight is finally here.

A flying vehicle that "anyone can own and drive" has completed its first flight over water; the company that built it is now accepting orders for delivery next year. According to foreign media, the Telegraph reports, Jetson One is named after the animated series The Jetsons, created in the early 60's, which featured flying machines similar to UFOs and an imaginary 'family of the future'.

The device can reach speeds of up to 63 miles per hour and has a range of about 20 miles. The vertical and fully electric take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL) was launched in October last year and proved so popular that it was sold almost immediately for delivery in 2022. Now the Swedish-Polish company behind the creation of the device, Jetson, is taking orders for next year, until its price is 92 thousand dollars. "The first time I drove it, it was amazing - it's completely vibration-free, so it's not like a helicopter or an airplane," said Peter Ternstrom, one of Jetson's leaders.
