At Airpods, Apple is working on innovation. It will be possible to identify persons through the shape of the ear canal. This is said to be registered by the US company to the Patent and Trademark Authority, until such a thing will work through ultrasonic signals.

This will be similar to "Face ID", which was launched years ago on the iPhone, where user identification can be done through the face.

The shape of the headset will be created based on the shape of the user's ear.
