Even though it is in its first phase, people are starting to worry about the potentiality of harassment inside the metaverse. 

The new feature which is called "Personal Boundary" and it is said to be released in February. What this new feature does is that it prevents other users’ avatars from getting too close, and thereby avoid interactions that might be disturbing to some people. 

"Meta" says that the feature is going to stop an avatar that is trying to get too close to you. They are also saying that this is an amazing example of how people can interact with each other very comfortably inside the metaverse.

There have been a lot of people especially women who have said that when they tried VR there have been times where they have felt uncomfortable, since there have been men who would get too close, say uncomfortable things and also take pictures of their avatar. 

After Meta announced their new feature, women especially seem to be very grateful about it.
