The building was demolished by a Lamborghini explosion in order to sell video clips as NFT.

It is planned to separate the film of the Lamborghini Huracan's destruction into 999 pieces, with 888 of those pieces being sold as NFT.

Some of the remarks people have made on NFT and the enormous amount of money it generates from the sale of digital stuff such as virtual artwork that can be downloaded for free from the internet but can also be purchased for millions of dollars are about how meaningless and insane it all is. And it is not impossible to agree with them, despite the fact that individuals who are currently investing in digital assets stand to gain many times the amount of money they have invested in the future.

The performance of an artist named Shl0ms, who damaged a Lamborghini Huracan with an explosion in order to sell parts of the footage of that destruction as NFT, can be described with the same epithets (madness and nonsense). The price of a new model of this vehicle is approximately 200 thousand dollars, but according to a story on The Drive, he wrecked a used model that was still a bit less expensive at the time.

Approximately 100 people participated on this project, and they will all receive one NFT as part of the prize, while the remaining short NFT videos (a total of 888 of them) will be available for purchase. Sales will begin tomorrow at a price of 0.01 ethers per NFT, and it will be only then that Shl0ms will disclose the entire footage of the explosion - for the time being, only a teaser video has been posted.

That said, what is particularly fascinating is that he did not demolish a car in order to sell video pieces as some type of art or to put money in his pocket, but instead as "generic critique of the greed and short-term nature of the crypto," which is to say, the cryptocurrency market. As a result, he does not aim to keep the earnings of the auction for himself, but rather to put them towards future public art pieces, whatever that may entail.

Despite the fact that we can understand his stance on the cryptocurrency market and his criticism of the industry, destroying an expensive car, even though it is evident that it would garner a large deal of attention that he would not otherwise receive, is just irrational.

It will be fascinating to see how much interest there will be in this NFT and how much money it will be able to make off of this endeavor. It is not difficult to predict that those who are critical of Shl0ms would invest in it and attempt to profit from it in the future.
