Nokia has announced three new phones that have a strong emphasis on long-term reliability.
The three new smartphones, which were revealed ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, have a strong emphasis on long-term durability - both in terms of the devices and batteries themselves, as well as in terms of software support over the long term.
A new generation of Nokia C series smartphones has been unveiled by HMD Global, the firm that manufactures Nokia phones. The C21, C21 Plus, and C2 second edition are the three new models introduced by HMD Global.
As they stated during the presentation, business results for 2021 were better than projected, and they expect the trend of growth to continue in 2022 as well. As a result, they expect to reach one million memberships to their Services Suite during the first half of the year, and they have also announced the creation of a new department dedicated to services.
The year 2021 was a year of transformation for HMD Global, with solid revenue growth across the board. Today, we mark the beginning of a profitable new chapter for the company with the release of three new affordable Nokia devices that are not only safe, reliable, and durable, but also ensure that more people can access the latest innovative technology for less money. The addition of a secure method for financing smartphones and other gadgets to our array of services is something I am very enthusiastic about. To achieve our aim of making contemporary mobile technology accessible to all, we combine these two ingredients: a high-quality smartphone experience and a financing solution built on our mission to make modern mobile technology accessible to all. As a result, we have seen significant growth in our business services, with up to 1 million subscriptions signed up in our first half, and we have maintained the high level of service that our customers have come to expect from us, said Florian Seiche, CEO of HMD Global.

The Nokia C21 Plus is a kind of flagship device for this series, built for durability and extended battery life. The battery is available in two sizes: 4000 mAh, which provides two days of autonomy, and 5050 mAh, which provides three days of battery life. Protected by toughened glass on top, the 6.5-inch screen is equipped with a dual 13 MP camera on the back that can be used in panorama and portrait settings. The smartphone is pre-loaded with the Android Go operating system, which provides users with extra storage space for apps that are tailored to their specific needs. In addition, two years of quarterly security upgrades are included.
The Nokia C21 comes with an enhanced 8 MP camera with focusing technology, and the long-lasting battery ensures that you may use it all day long without any issues. It comes with the same two-year subscription to regular security updates as the Plus version.
The inside metal body of the Nokia C2 second edition houses a 5.7-inch screen, which is a Nokia first. It is powered by an upgraded operating system with minimum preloading, and it comes with two years of regular security upgrades included.
It is not yet clear at what price these devices will be available on the Croatian market, or when they will be available.
